All Edus&Co. jewelry is hand-crafted by our professionals in New York City to last a lifetime. However, everyday things like cosmetics, dust, perspiration, salt water and other elements can make jewelry fade and look dull. Below are some tips how to to keep it looking new all the time.

Try to remove your jewelry when:
- Going to bed or participating in physical activity
- Putting on lotion, perfume, hairspray, shaving cream and other beauty products
- Cleaning house, doing laundry or using harsh chemicals
- Bathing, using pools, hot tubs, spas etc.
- Experiencing extreme cold or heat

Cleaning Your Jewelry

Silver Jewelry
Pour some mild soap in warm water and use a soft toothbrush or clean cotton cloth to clean your jewelry. Toothbrushes allow to clean jewelry with more intricate designs. If the dirt is hard to remove, soak the jewelry in clean water. We do not recommend to use silver polish liquids, ultrasonic, steam or tumbler cleaning, which will remove the antique finish on Edus&Co. jewelry pieces.

Gold & Platinum Jewelry
Soak your pieces it in a mild solution of soap and warm water for about 5 minutes. Then gently rub it with a clean cotton cloth. Rinse your jewelry under warm running water and wipe it with a soft cotton cloth.

Dry all your jewelry before storage as water can leave stains on your silver & gold jewelry pieces. Store jewelry away from natural sunlight and heat. Keep it in the Edus&Co. pouch or box you received with the purchase.

All jewelry should be professionally cleaned and inspected once a year. If there is a problem with your Edus&Co. jewelry piece, please contact us for repair to prevent more extensive damage or loss.
